We didn't start ELIXMODE in a garage with a whiteboard full of diagrams. We started it out of frustration — the kind that hits you when you're 16, you have a product to sell, and the entire internet seems designed to make that impossible.
The Day We Tried to Sell Online
It started with a simple idea. We wanted to sell something online — just put a product out there, find customers, make it work. Simple, right? We'd seen people do it. We'd read the stories. We figured India in 2025 would have this figured out.
It didn't. Not even close.
The first thing we hit was the cost. A proper Shopify store with the integrations you actually need — payments, WhatsApp, analytics, inventory — runs upwards of ₹35,000/month once you stack all the apps. That's not pocket money for a 16-year-old founder. That's not pocket money for most small D2C sellers in India, full stop.
Then came the complexity. There wasn't one tool that did everything. There were six. Shopify for the store. Razorpay for payments. Interakt or WATI for WhatsApp. Some third-party app for abandoned cart. Another for analytics. Another for returns. None of them talked to each other cleanly. Every integration broke something else. Setting up took weeks — and we still didn't have something we were proud to share.
At some point, we just stopped. Not because we gave up on the idea — but because we couldn't justify throwing that much time and money at infrastructure instead of actually selling. We felt like the system was built for someone else. Not for us. Not for the thousands of D2C sellers across India trying to start from zero.
Meet The Founders
16 years old. From Bengaluru. The one who got angry enough at broken tools to decide building from scratch was a better option. Leads product vision, strategy, and everything that faces the customer.
@sharique.salvatore16 years old. Also from Bengaluru. The one who looks at a complicated system and immediately starts thinking about how to simplify it. The quiet executor who makes sure what gets promised actually gets built.
@_exotic_4rWe've been friends for a while. The kind of friends who end up in long arguments about how things should work — and then actually try to build them. ELIXMODE came out of one of those arguments. Except this time, we didn't stop arguing until we had something real.
Why We Built ELIXMODE
The question we kept asking was: why does selling online have to involve six different tools, a developer, and a ₹30,000 monthly bill — just to get started?
The answer, as far as we could tell, was that nobody had built it any other way. The existing platforms were built for Western markets, then brought to India with a price tag that made no sense for the average D2C seller here. The Indian alternatives were either too simple to be useful or too expensive to be accessible.
We saw a gap. A real one. And we decided to fill it — not by copying what existed, but by rethinking the whole thing from scratch, with AI at the center.
The ELIXMODE idea in one sentence: What if setting up your entire D2C store — products, payments, WhatsApp integration, analytics — was as simple as having a conversation?
That's the core of what we built. You talk to the AI. You describe your business, your products, what you want your store to look like. The AI builds it. In minutes, not weeks. And the tools you need — Razorpay payments, WhatsApp selling, order management, daily insights — are already there, built in, no integrations required.
No Investors. No Corporate Team. Just Us.
There's something worth being honest about here. We're two 16-year-olds from Bengaluru. We don't have a fund behind us. We don't have a team of 40 engineers. We don't have advisors who've exited three companies.
What we have is a working product, a clear problem we've felt personally, and enough stubbornness to keep going when things are hard.
Building ELIXMODE meant figuring out things we had no business figuring out at our age — AI integrations, payment rails, WhatsApp commerce APIs, store theming systems, workflow automation. There were nights where we had no idea what we were doing. There were builds that broke completely. There were moments where the easier path was to just buy a Shopify store and move on.
That's the thing about building something you personally needed. You can't really quit. Every time you think about stopping, you just think about the next seller who's going to hit the same wall you hit — and you go back to work.
What ELIXMODE Looks Like Today
The platform we built has six core pillars. An AI Store Builder that creates your entire store through conversation. Native WhatsApp integration so you can sell directly where your customers already are. Razorpay payments built in — UPI, cards, COD, all of it, zero setup. A clean order management dashboard. An AI Business Assistant that sends you daily summaries and alerts. And an automation engine — trigger-based workflows so your store responds intelligently to orders, stock levels, customer activity, and more.
We're not launched yet. We're onboarding our first batch of D2C sellers — the founders, the small brands, the people selling handmade products and local goods and niche fashion who deserve a platform that was actually built for them.
Pricing that actually makes sense for India
We priced ELIXMODE the way we wish the tools we tried had been priced. Starter at ₹999/month. Growth — with unlimited products, WhatsApp, and priority support — at ₹2,499/month. Scale with multi-store and API access at ₹5,999/month. No hidden fees. No per-transaction cuts on top of your payment gateway. No "enterprise pricing" that's just code for "call us so we can figure out what you can afford."
What We're Building Toward
The goal was never just to build a store builder. The goal is to make it genuinely easy for any seller in India — regardless of technical ability, budget, or background — to build and run a real online business. To take the gap between having a product and having a store, and collapse it to almost nothing.
We think AI makes that possible in a way it wasn't two or three years ago. And we think the Indian D2C space is ready for a platform that was actually designed for it, not ported from somewhere else.
We're 16. We have a lot to learn. But we built something real — and we're just getting started.
